1. Purpose of the application

Phumikasephal allows users to discover, buy, and sell products; create and manage stores; manage product listings, orders, payments, delivery information, reviews, and marketplace communication. Google Sign-In is offered as an optional method to create or access an account securely.

2. Information we collect

Depending on the features you use, we may collect account details such as name, email address, telephone number, profile image, role, delivery address, approximate or precise location when you choose to provide it, store and product information, order and payment records, reviews, messages, uploaded files, device/browser information, IP address, cookies, and security logs.

3. Google Sign-In data

When you choose Google Sign-In, we request only the basic OpenID Connect information needed for authentication: your Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile picture when available. We do not receive or store your Google password.

We use this information to identify your account, create or update your marketplace profile, sign you in, prevent duplicate or fraudulent accounts, provide account support, and maintain security. We do not use Google Sign-In data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

4. How we use information

We use information to operate the marketplace; authenticate users; process listings, carts, orders, payments, withdrawals, invoices, and delivery; enable buyer, seller, and administrator communication; personalize search and recommendations; prevent fraud and abuse; troubleshoot and improve the service; comply with legal obligations; and enforce our terms.

5. How information is shared

Information may be shared only as needed with the buyer or seller involved in a transaction, marketplace administrators and authorized support staff, delivery or payment providers selected for a transaction, infrastructure providers that host or protect the service, and authorities when legally required. Public store and product information is visible to marketplace visitors. We do not sell personal information.

6. Storage, security, and retention

Account and transaction records are stored in the application database. Media and documents may be stored on the local server or Cloudflare R2, depending on availability and administrator configuration. We use access controls, HTTPS, session protection, audit logs, and other reasonable safeguards. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

We retain information while your account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary for transactions, dispute handling, fraud prevention, backups, accounting, and legal compliance. Retention periods may differ by record type.

7. Your choices and rights

You may update your profile and account information through the website. You may request access, correction, deletion, or disconnection of Google Sign-In by contacting us. Some transaction or compliance records may be retained where required. You can also revoke the app's Google access from your Google Account security settings.

8. Cookies and local storage

We use session cookies and browser storage for login, language, theme, cart, security, and service preferences. Disabling them may prevent important features from working.

9. Children

The marketplace is not intended for children who cannot legally consent to online services or commercial transactions under applicable law. A parent or guardian should supervise use where required.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when features, providers, or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will remain available on this page.
